Privacy & Cookies

How MotorCrunch handles data — and how advertising and affiliate support would work if enabled in the future — in plain English.

Last updated: June 2026

The short version

You can use every MotorCrunch calculator without creating an account or giving us your name. Calculator inputs run in your browser and are not sent to or stored on our servers — they are used only to produce your result on your device.

We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which tools are useful, and MotorCrunch may be supported by advertising, affiliate links or partner offers in the future — including third-party ad networks — that may set cookies in your browser. This page explains what that means and the choices you have.

No account needed

MotorCrunch is free and does not require registration. We do not ask you to sign up, and we do not build a personal profile tied to your name, email or identity to deliver our calculators.

Calculator inputs run in your browser and are not sent to or stored on our servers. The figures you enter are processed on your device to show your result, and we do not collect or retain them.

Anonymous usage signals

We use privacy-respecting analytics to collect anonymous usage signals — such as page views and which calculators are opened — to understand what is useful and improve the site. These signals are not tied to any individual, are not used to identify you, and do not include the figures you type into a calculator.

Standard server logs may temporarily record technical information such as a truncated IP address, browser type and the page requested, for security and reliability purposes.

Advertising, affiliates & cookies

MotorCrunch may be supported by advertising, affiliate links or partner offers in the future. We do not let monetization change calculator formulas or editorial guidance, and the tools stay free. When advertising is enabled, this section explains how it would work so you know what to expect.

Third-party advertising networks, including Google AdSense, may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, and in some regions to personalize them based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Any affiliate partners may use cookies to attribute a referral to us. These third parties operate under their own privacy policies.

You can learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services, and your ad personalization choices, in Google's own privacy and ads settings.

Your choices

You can control or block cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of personalized advertising via your device or ad-network controls. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site work.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data, or to object to certain processing. Because we operate without accounts and rely on anonymous data, we may hold little or no information that identifies you — but you can still contact us with any request.

Children

MotorCrunch is intended for adults making vehicle and finance decisions and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this notice

We may update this summary as our tools, any future partners or legal obligations change. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
